Hello and happy Friday to you! I tell you what, the Hunt family has been incredibly busy recently. County and state fairs are starting back up, and we have got quite a few shoes that we will be headlining, which we cannot wait for. I’m taking today to do some relaxing though, and of course I’m listening to some great music while I do it. There is no reason that you shouldn’t be inspired at all times. Here’s a look at what I’m listening to. Hope y’all have a great weekend, and remember if you’re looking for some great music there’s gotta be a fiddle in it.I just thought that this Alison Krauss appearance on Sesame Street was too cute. She and Baby Bear are right, you need to find time each day too do something that you enjoy!Even people who don’t know a thing about good music know about this song, “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.” You have got to love Charlie Daniels band and the way he plays that fiddle.Throwing some more Alison Krauss at you. This is the song “Sawing on the Strings.” I’ve been learning this one, and I have to say it is quickly beomcing one of my favorites songs ever to play. You know, I always just walk into music stores and start playing. Well, not really, but it would be fun, right? The fiddler for Nickel Creek, Sara Watkins, she is just so impressive. I love how she plays.
